North follows suit and east must keep two spades or declarer will lead the ♠K next, smothering the queen, and wins ♠T, ♥AK, ♦K, so east discards a heart.
Now declarer plays ♥AK, establishing the ♥3.

I am a bit tired, isn't the third example on the wikipedia wrong?

note that the squeeze operates no matter which hand wins the dia trick.
This position is a GUARD squeeze with the only difference being the
spade QJ are in a finesseable position vs behind. I admit I do not
recall seeing the term "vice squeeze" before this.

The fact that the squeeze works does not automatically mean you should
try to play for it because lho might easily be able to pitch a spade from Qx or
Jx and keep hearts covered and you make six by simply leading a heart to dummy
and playing rho for the spade A. I will admit it is easier to get ones name in print
by pulling off the squeeze vs the more plebian spade toward the K play (though
I would consider the squeeze anti percentage unless I had a strong reason for
suspecting lho had the spade A)

the four card ending one? West lets go of a heart on the ♠5 or the ♦K establishes the 8, discard a diamond from dummy, now a heart to the king establishes the ten.

To make it a vice squeeze ("where one defender holds cards of equivalent rank which split the declarer's pair of cards in front of him, where his partner has a winner in the suit") you need to change the diagram slightly:

that doesn't work though, south leads the ace, west lets go of ♥A, east discards ♥J, now declarer must lost ♥ + ♣

Rainer, in your diagram, can't the defense prevail if W pitches ♥A and E ♥J? Or am I misunderstanding the position?

I think this is a vice squeeze that gains TWO tricks.

edit: apparently this isn't a vice squeeze according to a few posts above me? Also fixed diagram, west could throw a club and win a red-suit trick eventually
