Possible contracts are 4, 5 or 6
What is the way to find out the best contract?

What if partner holds something like and 3NT is the best contract?

Play Bridge for fun and entertainment and to meet nice people.
BAD bidding may be succesful due to excellent play, but not vice versa.

I have 2 artificial on this auction so mine would continue like this (for the 3NT one):
1-1
2-2!
3-3
3NT

2 is artificial, essentially a relay, forcing to game.
3 is natural, denies three hearts.
3 is natural, shows the extra heart.
3NT shows 1 or less heart and a stopper in spades. 3 would've been the "you bid NT if you've got the stopper" bid.

Hi,

3D, althouh playing MP, 2D looking for a heart fit would be ok as well.

3D does not ruleout playing 4H, if partner showes a top honor in hearts, you
can still suggest 4H as a possible alternative contract.

With kind regards

what are the conditions? MP or IMP, Vul?

at MPs i would just bid 3 showing a fit, a suit and about 10-12 total points. true, my hand is slightly better but I dont want to commit to game. any bid, that rules out 3nt is very bad. 2 is a possible alternative though on the agressive side.

at IMPs (especially vul), we belong in game. 2 is best but continuation is difficult.

You never showed Kxxx support in clubs?
I don't feel good about passing 3nt with such good clubs and partner can still have such a wide range hand.

Also not sure about 3h when I have a 6-4 fit and possible club slam.
