I like these wonderful tournaments

But Many a time I found large number of runners register
to play the tourney. This results in waiting to find subs
and also the tourney is abnormally delayed.

I suggest to allow only those who have higher percentage
of TCR min 80/85% to register to play. This will help in
smooth running of the tourney and less problems to TD's
to find subs. The tourney can be completed on time without
any unusual waiting and delays.

Serious action to be taken to blacklist people who use
vulgar language on the table to both pd and oops.

Tournament Directors already have the option to only allow players with good TCR; some directors choose not to bother using this.

You also have the option of only registering for tournaments that apply a TCR requirement.

If anyone uses vulgar language, you should report him to abuse@bridgebase.com and he will be subject to discipline.

Taking a screen shot of the vulgar chat makes it WAY easier for them to deal with it.

You may not be aware of this but one of the reasons TCRs have such a bad name is that any user who does not play in 10 tournaments per month plus all new users get given a TCR of 0% (unless they changed this, as has been requested often enough). There are already a very limited set of options for new users to get their 10 tournaments and thereby get a high enough TCR to play in the resrt of the tournaments. Your proposal seems to come from the "I'm all right Jack' school of thinking. Perhaps one day you will not be able to play for a month (holiday, internet outage, whatever) and then you too will be glad of an additional option for getting your TCR back.

Welcome to the forums, abhiram. I just want to remind you that we have separate areas in the forum for different topics. "General Bridge Discussion" is for discussion of bridge that isn't specifically restricted to BBO. "General BBO Discussion" is for discussion of BBO, and I've moved your thread here.

I believe that they changed it so that if you have a bad TCR, you can get it back with 10-in-a-month; if you have a good TCR, it won't go away for inactivity.

I for one approve of this change, as someone with perennial "no TCR, don't play enough, but *do* finish everything I start" issues.
