I notice I am often happy to make opp push 3 over 3 .....but I miss out by not doubles.

At imps when should I double after 3 over 3?

I would double with 5 tricks in my hand or with three tricks opposite a strong opening.

I will win enough imps for 3 compared with 2 made- no need to double for more.
Kind Regards

Roland

When you caused them to go to the 3-level, you put them in a lose or break even position. If you then double, you put them in a lose or win position. This applies to routine competitive cases; the exception is when you can stand on your chair.
