Gentlemen
I am unable to find my way here as to where to send my mesage i want to convey to you!I hope you can forward my comment to the right place.
I have been greatly disturbed that after joining BBO the selection of prefered partner has changed to this rolling type of table format that i have to keep rolling until i find a preferred partner based on his accepted level of play!
This selecrion takes much more time than with the old system!
I fail to understand why have software enginers changed to this latest system when i expect them to use their knowledge to make the system easyer to use and not more difficult, that also take much longer time.
So i wonder if you could go back to the old system of partner selection from a table or create a better system to use.Your consideration would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely
Budai

One of the big differences between the old client and the web client is that the web client does NOT need to download the list of all logged in users and keep updating it. This puts tremendous strain on the server, and we're not likely to change it.
If you have preferred partners, you should mark them as "friends". The new version always shows your friends who are logged in, just like the old version showed them near the top of the list.

It would be much better if some reasonable compromises were made - e.g. when viewing a list of tables sync the profiles of the, say, 60 people you can actually see, instead of having to wait for a roundtrip server response on every...single...one.

I'll again vote for improvements in the ability to find a partner who plays a specific bidding system.
This suggestion keeps coming up ---for a reason!

How about a question and answer based fit determination like dating websites use.
