I suspect that all of my cards are working, and my fourth spade may be pulling extra weight.
Too good of a hand to bid a weasly 2♠. Could produce a game opposite AQxx x xxxx xxxx.

If the hand was ♠KJxx ♥AJ9xx ♦Axx ♣x that would be a lot closer to a 3♠ (although to me, still not quite there...turn either J into a Q and I'd bid 3)

Not unreasonable to evaluate our hand as 16 points with 3 aces, a 10 and a singleton. I don't want to miss a vulnerable game.
