If that's a real principle, "2 shows all hands that would not pass or transfer or raise directly" is a sufficient answer for most pairs playing Stayman.

Oh, I doubt that.

Questions for you.
I play 10-12 NT NV 1st,2nd seat, which we announce
#1 We play 2 non forcing stayman as per discusion and do not alert. Should 2 be alerted?
#2 We play 2,2,2,3 all as natural which we do not alert. Should we alert?
#3 We play 2NT response as our only forcing bid. We alert this. The normal reply to 2NT is 3 which we treat as puppet stayman [we don't alert 3 but we alert all responces]

Are we correct ACBL land with our alerts and non alerts?

Thank you

In the ACBL, If 2 expects to hear about majors, 4 or 5, then it is not Alertable no matter what hands it could have. I would feel uncomfortable if the opponents didn't know, especially were I to be declaring, that it *absolutely denied* a GF hand, but that doesn't require an Alert (playing two-way, I do anyway, but not doing so is not violation IME).

Now, if 2 isn't "non-forcing Stayman" because opener's response may be passed, or because it denies a game force, but because 2 *itself* could - by agreement - be passed, it's absolutely Alertable.

In the OP case, it looks like, based on the questions and the hand, opener decided to pass a forcing bid. Provided that isn't an concealed, even if implicit, partnership understanding, fine - you're allowed to do that. If you end up being able to explain what kind of hand would do that (that isn't "he psyched with a club suit") from experience, then you're in partnership agreement territory, and it probably is Alertable.

1. No
2. No
3. There was no question in that one

No. Your 2NT response requires an alert, which you do, but the 3 reply should also be alerted. It does not fall under the "Puppet Stayman as a response to 2NT does not require an alert" rule because that rule applies to 2NT openings (and rebids after an artificial sequence, but yours is not that).
