Imps W vs red 1nt--all pass.

East start by cashing AKQxx in clubs ...east discard a discouraging S and an unclear D.

you pitch 2S & D from dummy, H & D from hand.

return 5H and J by East won by ace and you play K of S and its ducked.
From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Return to A and to Q. There is some chance E is forced to play J or A of spade. There is some chance you guess right the E has an unplayed A. There is some chance that even if you guess wrong and lose to W's A that W will not have a or will play a red card. If a you are cold. If a you fall back on 3-3 or finesse (or possible show up squeeze on E).

Maybe playing the first is better, but I don't want to go down when are 4-2 if the long has the A.
