People who want to play in tournaments, including me, go to the tournament list. Broadcasting to the world with a private message sound is very annoying and is SPAM. Some of the tournaments are very prolific with constant announcements. There should at least be a way to opt out if you don't want to receive these.

There are only a couple of groups that do this sort of advertising and they're all supposed to stop if you ask them to. A couple of them use "private clubs" ( these were originally intended as they sound but have largely become a way to organize a mailing list and tournament access list ).

In your case, you aren't part of these clubs, so the TDs must be manually targeting you. I see from the chat logs that they are doing so.

I'll take this up with Rain ( who is our liaison to the clubs ) and we'll see what we can do

I second the OP. It seems that as soon an you play once in their tourneys they target you forever more. I confess that I have not tried asking them to stop. I just flag them as enemies

It seems that flagging them as enemies does not prevent future invites. I speculate that tourney hosts have special privileges that allow them to force chat on individuals who have flagged them as black (combined with blocked messages from enemies). This would I think be a necessary power for a tourney host to have OVER INDIVIDUALS AT THE TOURNEY. But I cannot see any reason for that power being extended over indivduals in the lobby.
