I see FrancesHinden, MickeyB and wank have reached the final of the NEC in Japan. Good luck to them (and team-mate Graham Osborne who I don't think posts much here), playing four-handed against the strong "Russian" team.

I can't follow them tomorrow sigh, but perhaps I can make a virtual match with the vugraph records :)

They were actually considering calling the team name BBF! I don't think Graham has posted here at all, but he has represented BBF in a couple of JEC matches.

I expected you to be comentating, at least on the semifinal, I don't think you are the kind of guy who gets too nervous watching his wife playing :)

Yes good luck to them, I think I'll stay up and watch the first set at midnight.

brunk drijver were amazing, even when they slip letting a vulnerable game make, but the rest was devastating. Good luck on the rest, you really need it now.

We're hoping the vugraph records from the final get lost. We played somewhat better earlier in the event.

Brink - Drijver showed how they have won a world championship in the first set and rather outplayed our teammates sitting in the same seats. We had almost nothing to do except rack up our -70 imps (with the exception of an exceptionally random weak 2S opener when we knew we had a dreadful card). After that it was all over, you generally don't get that sort of margin back against a better team.
