4D bid indicated some confidence in making 4S even opposite a minimum WITH wasted diamond values, so I am pretty confident 4S will make.
The question therefore is whether 5D will go for more than 500. At IMP, a 500 penalty against a making 620+ is only a modest profit. But at MP as here it is a must.
Put the opponents to the last guess. As jjbrr says, even 500 penalty is a bit pessimistic. You would be rather unlucky to go for 800 (and they still have to find it). 5S may well have chances of going down. Give them a chance to find it.
