Don't know why GIB went nuts.

- I dislike that I supposedly have to bid 2 spades instead of 1 spades. GIB treats 1 spade as limited 9-13 or something. I think 1s should be wider ranging, and North should try to raise or otherwise keep the auction alive whenever reasonable, 1 sp can be constructive NF. Or play 1s as 1rf, I don't care. But I shouldn't have to bid 2s with this.

- I think 2 spades was described as forcing to 3H+. If this is the case, I don't think 3s by overcaller should show 12-14 total points. Shouldn't it be able to raise with minimum overcalls with support, like 9-11 total points?

- blackwood is ridiculous, it's totally inconsistent with making a NF 3s call. But maybe it thinks 3s was forcing. 3s ought to be NF though, lower range. Really it should have splintered 4d over 2s IMO.

- 5nt when off 3 aces???

Seems obvious that GIB "knows" W must have the honors and thus your points "must" be in aces.

S can't have 4 key cards, that would put him on 19 HCP, which is outside the range he showed when bidding 4.

AKxxx x Axxxx Ax, which coincidentally makes that grand pretty alright. Even AKxxx K Axxxx Ax is only 18.
