Well, GIB plays forcing NT even by a passed hand, so presumably it planned to bid 3 over your rebid, showing its 3 card limit raise. No?

This bug has been around for years. GIB for whatever reason skips spades to bid a forcing NT with 3 cd limit raise, but *doesn't* skip spades to raise 1H to 2H holding 3 cd heart support and less than limit raise values. This is opposite of what most books recommend.

Are you sure it's not a feature though? Because it's consistent and also matches those bids' descriptions (for instance, the forcing 1NT says nothing about spade length - theoretically GIB could have a 10=3=0=0 hand)
I mean, it's legitimate to want to change the system, but I don't think you can call it a bug.

GIB has this same hand posted on RobotVHumans.com forum, questioning human's pass of forcing 1NT.

Unfortunately, the Robot forum requires entering 65535 character password, no more than 32767 of which can be alphanumeric characters. Good luck finding his post.

Would be avoided in next v27. Having 5+ spades and fit in hearts with invitational hand would go through 1 then 3.

Did you also fix the non-invitational 6-9 pt hand bidding 2 instead of 1 holding say 4-5 spade and 3 cd heart? This is what is recommended by nearly all SA & 2/1 experts, but GIB likes to bid 1 for whatever reason.

Also, there is some variance in opinion over what 1h-1s-1nt-2h shows. My book references interpret this as 3 cd hearts, inv, (so 1h-1s-1nt-3h is forcing), on the theory that 6-9 with 3 cd support raises directly not bidding spades, and that one doesn't pull 1nt to 2H on a doubleton. But from a thread last year this seems to vary. Currently GIB plays 1h-1s-1nt-2h as 3 cd 6-9 since it is not raising directly on those.

What I think should be std:
