suggested programming changes Claiming

When playing on BBO, and opponent claims the balance of the tricks, your partner can accept the claim and you cannot override him. From time to time this happens, especially when playing with one of the newer players. I recommend that this be changed. The old version would allow this.

I know I've accepted a claim and it has been cancelled because my partner rejected it.

I think what he is talking about is, if a defender concedes some tricks, and the declarer accepts, there is no way for the other defender to stop this, though he should be able to do so according to Law 68B2.

Maybe, although that's not what he said. He wrote "your partner can accept the claim and you can't override him". Nothing about the partner of the person claiming/conceding.
