A few partners of mine want to learn 2/1, having learned standard first.

Can someone please link to a clear bidding summary, or to an article about the differences between systems that will make sense to standard players?

Thanks

This has a summary of the 2/1 concept and sublinks to related issues. Not everyone will agree with all the specific details, but that isn't important to you right now.

That's a good starting point, thanks. I've ordered a Mike Lawrence book too.

For a basic summary sheet, you could do worse than Bridge with Dan.

I don't have a link for you but when I learned after playing SAYC for a while I found Audrey Grant and Eric Rodwell's book "2 over 1 Game Force" explained the principles better than Mike Lawrence's "Workbook On The Two over One System" or Dee Berry's "Two Over One in a Nutshell".

It is a good book, particularly for intermediate players. Lawrence tends to write for advanced players and assumes more background knowledge.
