GIB doesn't play drury. This raises the issue how forcing a 2/1 by a passed hand is.

I just defended against GIB making 2+4 after this auction:
pass-1
2-2
pass

Opener had 18 HCPs so apparently it thought 2 was forcing. I think it should be, even in Acol 2 is forcing nowadays, and presumably a passed-hand 2/1 promises more in the GIB system than in Acol.

A similar issue is how forcing a 2-level freebid is. I saw this auction:
1-(2)-2-(pass)
2-a.p.

I would think that a 2-level freebid should at least be forcing to 2 of opener's first suit. But maybe this 2 bid is intentionally defined as NF?
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

After passed hand 2minor natural maxhand call, but none-forcing bid, opener's bids below rebidded opening (likely 2/2 if opening spades ) are limited 12-15TP.

I.e.

P - P - 1 - P
2 - P - 2 - New suit -- 4+ ; 5+ ; 11+ HCP; 12-15 total points

Bidding this with 18HCP should be a bug in previous version and fixed in v26(current one).

This is horrible. Opener has to jump because holding 16 HCP? Now he can no longer show 5-5s below 3nt. We want you to fix responder passing new suit by opener, not make opener jump to make responder bid again.
