2H? Admit it is close to 3H.
I once yelled at my partner for discarding the 'wrong' card when he was subjected to a squeeze that I allowed by giving the wrong count with too high a card. Now he's allowed to pitch aces when the opponents have the king in the dummy. At trick 2. When he could have followed suit. And blame me.

I will use Kx in partner's suit as an excuse to rebid 3.

I will use the fact that I have a totally prime 15 with AKJxxx as my excuse for bidding 3H.

You definitely have a 2.5 rebid. If I had a partner who bid soundly, or if I could play the spots off the cards, I would go with 3. Also, since it is MPs I will go the low road with 2.

I must be missing the point here.
This looks like a down the middle 3H bid: extra values, 6 hearts, not worth a game force.

I thought (i) this isn't exactly an 'expert' question and (ii) there would be some votes for 2NT (which can be right with 6 hearts, but not on this hand); not that 2H would be suggested.

I mean, unless you are playing constructive 2-level openers, most people open 1H and rebid 2H on xx AKJxxx QJx xx. Compare and contrast.

Some people are wimpy? lol. I at least would have predicted people would bid 2H not 2N but yeah it definitely is a down the middle 3H bid. Only FIFTEEN POINTS though.

2NT did not occur to me at all. To me, it wouldn't make a drop of sense on this hand. Maybe I should expand my thinking.

3h looks normal to me

This hand is better than 15 pts. I'd probably evaluate it to 17-18ish.

Bidding 2H with this hand is utterly insane.

I wish all my rebid problems were like this.
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

Looks like a perfectly reasonable 3 If someone put a gun to my head and demanded I choose a different bid, I'm more comfortable with 4 than 2, even at match points.

I play mickyb 1H-1S so I'd rebid 2H, which shows 14-15 HCP.

Indeed I don't understand how anyone could rebid 2H playing standard.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.
