Playing a strong club system where pd can open balanced 11s (5-cd majors) or even lighter (10+)if unbalanced, would you consider this a mixed or limit raise or some other? Partner opens 1H and opponent overcalls...

1H (1S) ?

Responder's hand...

Easy limit raise for me, partner can see his own hand.

Limit raise - but I can't justify it in any other way than being consistent with my own style.

ditto.
Playing those light opener's, partner can always sign-off once you have accurately shown your hand:

Mixed raise.
5 spades and KQ tight are downgrades.
True it's an 8 loser count but so is Axxxx Jxxx Kx xx.
My preference is to have full LRs (11-12 SPs and 8 losers) for partner opposite an aggressive Precision opener.
I'm bidding 2. Partner knows how to make a game try.
Be the partner you want to play with.
