P deals and opps (rather weak by BBF standards) have a multi sequence:
2D-2H
2S-4S

You are on lead with
xx
AQxxx
Txxxx
Q

all vul MP's (would you have tried 2H??)?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

IMO I wouldn't overcall 2 but (at match-points) would consider 4N now.
Lead = 10, A = 9 , = 8. = 7 Dummy is probably short in , so A is unlikely to cost.

A trump might stop heart ruffs, since I expect a stiff in dummy quite often. The heart A is unlikely to cost a trick in the suit and allows us to determine a switch.

However, it is not impossible that partner has the club A and the heart K and we need to underlead the hearts to score a second ruff.

So a club it is.

Dummy has no high card baised raise to 4 Spade, he had played 2 opposite a w2 in hearts, so a black ace in partners hand is not unlikely. I join the club leaders at any form of scoring.
Kind Regards
