I* just played by accident my first robot dup


i placed 11 out of 11

not sure why


I will note all the bots played really fast

if anything thought i got lucky...


i think i really played fast



not sure what everyone did but i note first place was on hand 4

If so it obvious why so bad- you shouldn't have passed- clearly your bid is 1.

This one was a bit conservative to pass rather than double and doesn't take into account GIB's attrociously restrictive overcall requirements.
Of course the fact that no other GIB responded correctly to the double is just the terrible programming.

The play was really your failing after winning with J and easy spade return gets the contract one more down with any problem.

Another bad one since you didn't roll your cursor over your proprosed bid to see that GIB's system doesn't play "gambling 3NT" rather it plays strong balanced 3NT - lucky that EW make 5. Lucky for you that GIB defensive bidding and play is so appalling. Unlucky for you that GIB defense to 5 is poor too.
