trump suit help ask?

We play a strong club system, so 1M is confined to 10-15. We're using 1M-2N as a limit raise with 3 or more trump.

So far we've been using fairly naturalish (help suit) game tries over this, but should we reserve one or more bids to express doubt about the trump suit?

I'm thinking...

1S-2N
.....3C-generic GT
.....3D-trump suit GT
.....3H-nf, 5S/4H

and

1H-2N
.....3C-generic GF
.....3D-trump suit GT

So we'd make the trump suit ask with like Qxxxx or worse. Thoughts?
