I would lead a club, on the second auction I would ask what it means.

jack of hearts and it is not close imo. Leading a club here on 1N 3N is very bad.
I don't know what the 2nd auction means so no comment

Spade (both). There could still be time for hearts, but I'm not feeling in a rush to lead them.
Quick plug for Winning No Trump Leads by Bird and Anthias, which is well worth a look. All the problems are computer simulated, which is not everyones cup of tea. As I recall, there is not a single hand in the book where it was right to lead from any four card suit headed by the king without the queen or ace, even when the auction was unlimited. DD analysis probably overrates passive leads somewhat, though.
Time to fire up the simulator, Pokey!

on 1N 2N 3N I would lead a spade. They have marginal values and neither minor breaks at all, I expect to often beat them if I don't give them a trick.
