A pretty simple problem.
First trick is K♠ over taken by A♠.
Second trick rho leads the 5♠ won by lho with the J♠.
Third trick starts with lho leading the 6♠.
What do you do.

I think what I am going to do is go down, probably 2 or more, but I will give myself the best chance of making by ruffing with the 8 of trump, hoping for T9 with lefty.

I'll pitch a club. If LHO has 3 hearts or T9 of hearts, I can still get a spade ruff.

I wonder how will you guys make, even if LHO has T9 of hearts, and even if RHO has ♣ A without Q, and even if ♦ A is onside too !

It doesn't look good. But after this start, we can make if RHO has A5 xx QJT87x Axx or A5 xx AT987x Axx.

Down one is a second to top, down two is a disaster. Lots of ew in part scores making 110 or 140.
A♦ was off sides. Pitching on the third spade works like a charm for down 1.
