I hate leading from Jxx but do so here by default.

However, I would lead the Jack to guard against something like A9xx in dummy and KT with declarer and it's not an option in the poll.

I'd lead Sx since I am afraid of opp's ruffing his losers.

I would definitely lead a diamond. The other suits seem far too risky and the J has the added disavantage that declarer may play me for the Q, believing I have heart shortage. A low diamond could be best but I voted ace because there is quite a good chance someone will have diamond shortage, and my spots make it hard for us to build a second diamond trick.

Diamond Ace.

No suit is apealing, and every lead can cost, hence lets see,
if we can make a better decision at trick 2.

I see, another 'everyone is in agreement' topic :P

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."

my partner did lead a small D. declarer had DK singleton.
The contract goes down on DA or H lead if declarer does not find trump Q. probably he should after these leads, but opps were not very strong.

The good thing is, he will have learnt, why you should lead the Ace, if you decided to lead the suit.
