I would expect partner to have hearts. I think playing NT systems on in this auction is fine.

With that said partner needs to be sort of careful about the kinds of hands he bids 4D with, assuming we have agreed to play systems on. The 3NT bid can be made on, for example, a long running suit and a diamond stopper and an otherwise unbalanced hand, so with lots of hands with only 5 hearts or 6 bad hearts or whatever it's probably fine to play in NT rather than insist on playing in a suit contract.

Looking for a suit other than diamonds to play in slam.

transfer to hearts but be careful before using this because a 3n bid does not have to be a balanced powerhouse
so make sure your hearts are of decent quality QT98xx at least and if vul maybe a tad better.

Hearts and at least slight slam invite; signoffs go to 4c (forcing 4d). It also make both natural 4NT and rkcb available in this sequence which is very useful.

it is the same as 3-3NT-pass-4, and for me the same as 3x-3NT-pass-4 wich is a transfer

"But I don't want to go among mad people," Alice remarked.
"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
