after windows 7 installed 5 updates last night i now get the dreaded "can`t connect, make sure .... blabla " message. i actually can connect via the browserversion.
the test page http://bridgebase09....se.com/test.txt can`t be reached. my other PC, a xp machine, still connects with the older windowsclient. really sad because due to a lot of teaching i need
to use the old version on my W7-PC to be able to load up hands.
help appreciated!

I am using the web version for teaching, and in my view there are no disadvantages. However, when I tried first I did not discover all features. Especially loading a payed hand to the table is a little bit hidden in the menu.

its not the upload of played hands, its the upload of topic-pre-generated handsets. i never found a menue to access my harddrive for upload.

Click on Hands and Results, then "Import LIN file". Choose a folder where to save the deals you plan to import, and click Select.
The test page here:
http://bridgebase09....se.com/test.txt
links to a server that is no longer in use, so it will never work for anyone. We should have updated it, but somehow we never got to it.
