Since there seem to be a lot of fantasy fans on this forum, I thought I would hand out a recommendation.

I recently read "The name of the Wind" by Patrick Rothfuss, and, its the best new fantasy offering for years. If you like Robert Jordan, or Tolkein, or anything in that vein, then this is probably a good book for you.

It is excellent and so is the sequel "A Wise Man's Fear". Really top notch.
