I know this is possible if you join a table after the cards have been dealt, but that didn't happen here. The 2nd time I saw the board was an hour after the first time and it was the 3rd board I had played at that table.

Did this query disappear into a black hole? Not only has it not been answered, it consistently shows 0 views.

I have no direct interest in the question, but I've long been curious as to why one sometimes plays a board, only to find it still unplayed by anyone else up to an hour later, and I hoped the answer to this query might spread light on the matter.

It says 101 views for me.

I thought I remembered a thread from a few months ago where I answered a similar question, and I was trying to find it. But all I found was one involving a tourney and the same sub getting put into a board at different times.

I was hoping Uday would respond regarding this bug. I'll ask him to pipe in.

Here's the same question from December, which never got an answer:

Number of views changed to 101 instantly on my post. I guess that view count must only be updated when someone adds to the thread.

It is a bug - doesn't get much air time bec. it is rare ( mostly bec. deals get played out so rapidly, for the most part ).

Fixed, and the next server upgrade will pick it up.

I thought this sounded familiar.

I am glad to hear the bug has been found.

Yes, that's exactly the problem. But it's the FIRST time that matters, not the second. And when you played the hand the first time, it was your first hand at that table.

The bug that Uday just fixed is that when you join a table, the hand that's in progress is not recorded as having been seen.
