Look at how great north's hand is. And it's fine with me if it chooses to double or bid 2, but I don't think many players would pass here.

I would rather be on lead against a vulnerable NT with that hand my friend. If X is penalty, then it is the only bid I am willing to possibly make.

Oh, hey friend. They use Cappeletti, so double is for penalty, and 2 is for 1-suited hand, where I would respond 2 and then it could pass. Double probably usually is going to get more points here but then again it's also a much bigger risk whereas 2 is a really safe bid. But either is still better than passing.
