I really don't like whatever GIB uses to determine whether or not to bid after a takeout double, but I must say this was one of the worst passes I've ever seen by it. I've seen it pass with 0 points and a 2-card trump suit before, but here it had a really long suit and I see no reason why it didn't bid it. These hands can even make 6♦ by ruffing enough of the spades. The double's description was something like takeout double -- 15-22p.
