Help
After 2NT, bidding any suit at the 3 level, whether diamonds or anything else, apparently shows 2 stops in that suit and no points. After 5♣, bidding any suit at the 5 level, including 5♠, is supposedly a cuebid in support of clubs. You may not agree with double on this hand but if I had had a strong single-suited hand I would have been equally screwed.

4♠ explanation looks inappropriate, which drives the auction to bad.

Isn't this 2♦ (Michaels however I bet the description of a jump to game bid after Michael's will be rediculous) not double?
3♠ after 2NT should be forcing period.
