We play a strong club system and we're playing 1S-2D shows hearts and don't really have need for 1S-1N-2m-2H to show hearts.

I'm thinking we can use 2H as a cue bid...much like 1H-1N, 2m-2S is a cue bid. However, we have more room...

1S-1N, 2m-2H can request a 2S bid

.....2S-ask requested
..........P-doubleton, weak
..........2N-GI of some kind?
..........3m-good raise of the minor

and

1S-1N, 2m-
.....2S-invitational with a doubleton?
.....2N-GI without a doubleton?
.....3m-light and more distributional raise

Any other ideas?

Send a request to Ben and he will move it for you. Before answering could you explain which hands are contained in the 1NT response (after the 1♠ opening) and what hands are contained in the 2♠ rebid (after the 1♥ opening). I had thought you were playing 1♠ - 2♦ as invitational or better.
