Several bidding misunderstandings also did not help team BBO forum's chances. I will not show all of them, but here is one that ran off the tracks

The roof had collapsed on us by the time this hand occurred late in the match.

At our table, jec opened 1D and ns had an effective, and short, auction..
1D 1S
3D 3S
3N 6D AP

It looks like benlessard was on his way to slam at this table since it looks like his 4 was asking about king of heart, which his partner had, but one of them must have gotten the continuation wrong as they ended up in 4NT. I am not sure what the response to 4 is suppose to be to show the heart king. 6nt would have picked up a few imps for us, but missing slam cost a bundle.

JEC has a tough call over 3N. I thought 6 was excessive at the time but Justin pointed out that even if JEC bids a simple 4, Seamon with his great trump and controls will drive it to 6.

Bridge can be a humbling game sometimes. In long matches, you cannot be giving up multiple double digit swings due to systemic problems and expect to be competitive.

I do not understand 6D by JEC. Did 1D 1S 3D 3S 3N by Seamon show self sufficient diamonds and 2 aces?

your bidding appears to be based on relays it might help
in the future to explain what all the artificial bids
mean so we have a clue how to comment:)))))))))))))))))

The pair bidding this hand didn't post it, I did. I am not sure what the relays asked or showed, but the one alerted bid did ask for the heart king.
