I really dislike X. You'll be dreadfully positioned after 4♥.
Assuming that you force me to double, I'll rebid 4♠

I think we are in slam territory.
Doesn't 4♣! say: " I have a max pass and both 4 card majors, pick 1 ? "
Not knowing what 4NT would be interpreted here as ... or 4-new suit ... or 5♣ ... or 5♠, I'll just blurt out:
6♠ ... needing as little as ♠ K-4th and ♥ A-4th and ♣ shortness.

Here's the full hand. If south starts (edited) 3N then north has a chance to enter the auction.

If you make me dbl, I'll bid 6S after 4C. I'm on borrowed time anyway.

4S over 3C is not an option with this terrible suit. Double then spades is possible. Will likely be best if partner responds at the 3 level. 3N is probably favourite. With a void club partner has a routine removal imo. It will be hard to reach slam after 3N though. Partner might be able to make a slam try, its unclear to me whether that is %. Partner likely has wasted club values, and may not be hugely strong. Many would bid here with a balanced 17 count.

I don't understand '4S over 3C is not an option' but 'double and then spades is possible' ? Wouldn't double then spades suggest a better hand, spade holding than a direct 4♠ bid? (I agree 4♠ is not an option I would choose with this suit)

No both shows good hand, direct 4♠ sets the trump suit, usually solid or semi solid while DBL and then bidding means he can play another suit too.

Some people make simple overcall with some of those but i keep my overcalls maximum to 18 hcp, and if 18 it should not have prime cards imo.

This is how they thaught it in the last century. And I bet that most players still use it this way.
But "we" think that it is MUCH better to use X and a suit for a more flexible hand. It must be wrong to have 7 ways to show different spade one suiters but no convincing way to show a 5341 hand.
