IMPs. Agreed cue-bidding style is to bid 1st OR 2nd round controls.

1. With no further interference, how would your bidding go from here?

2. Looking at both hands, do you want to be in slam? If so, which slam?

3. If North bids 4C, what should a 4D bid mean by South?

1. I'd just bid 4C. Maybe 3NT if I feel lucky. Over that I suppose responder will have to pull to 4S and that would be it.
2. No.
3. Some sort of cue, agreeing clubs. It would be an overbid, I guess.

I think I'd bid 4-4.

No, I don't want to be in slam.

4 will usually be a choice of strains (opener should show 4 hearts, or some spade tolerance, or failing all that, bid 5) but it is also the only bid with a very strong hand.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
