I think you should lead a club to trick 7. Robots love playing for down 2 against slam.

And you might get preempted trying to find out. This could be the opp's hand. I'm sure we can construct some method to ask for specific aces and then specific kings, but the opps may not be silent and we may have issues showing two aces or kings etc. Any ideas?

I'd also shoot 6.

Many years ago I picked up the first of my two 0 loser hands:

-
AKQT9x
AKQxxx
A

With Paul Soloway on my left and Bobby Goldman on my right partner opened 2S. Not so bad - at the other table Mike Passell had to deal with a 4S opening bid from partner.

Partner had:

Axxxxx
x
x
Jxxxx

Push board in 6H= (Soloway held Jxxx in both red suits, so 6H is the only making slam).

The only thing I remember about the other 0 loser hand is suggesting that the person who held it at the other table might want to have bid their long suit at least once in the auction, which would have led to the correct grand.

Today, in first seat in a Swiss:

x
AKQJTxxxx
AK
x

Got to open 4N, and he had 'em both.

You'd think it would be a push, but at the other table my hand opened 2C. Partner responded 3C = controls, but opener thought it was natural. Played in 6H.

Ive never held more than 27 myself. I directed a game in 2003 where someone had a balanced 31 count -- I don't recall how many winners -- and responder had enough that 2210 was a bottom and 2220 was a top.

I had a 30 point balanced hand once, but strangely, I have no idea how the hand turned out.
