2H, then again I would not like to play a system where I could never systemically bid 2H with a soft 4 card constructive raise, because violating the system with that hand type seems fine to me.

well that was just a gide, I bid 2 often with 4 cards also, in fact when this hand happened with a client I didn't have mixed raise avaible.

I have no qualms about downgrading a 4 card support in a 4333 shape to 3 card support. The only time I did not do this in living memory, it was a disaster.

Yes. 2H all the way.

All evaluation methods I know hint at 2H.

2H with that hand seems so right, and would occur often enough IMO that I wouldn't offer to an opponent who asked that 1M-2M shows a 3-card raise.

Some of my partnerships have had the explicit agreement that 4333 hands have 3 cards in each suit.

I am sure that means something.

If we have an agreement that we can open a little light, then I bid 2, if we have solid opening ideals I invite game. My queens aren't isolated, Q9 QT and AQ so could work well for partner. If 2 of them were Q8x or worse I'd downgrade my hand and just bid 2 regardless of partnership style.

partner had:

A10x
AKJxxx
Jx
Jx

partner passed 2 for a AV-, most people in 4 more than half making. K is offside, on a spade lead you need to guess wich spade to play from dummy.

3NT is best in IMPs, and at MPs it would work also very well because the normal lead is a spade.
