The book bid is 2♥, but simulations push it up to 4. I think the double fit is what makes this preferable. If it just bids 2♥, it expects that the opponents are going to compete. It's expecting South to be at least 5-5 in the majors. So EW have at least an 8-card diamond fit, and probably 9 or 10; they'll be able to find it given room. It's a preemptive bid, not based on strength. And since it comes from a simulation, the description doesn't match its actual hand (but South's hand doesn't match its bid, either).
