Poor judgment on my part, I suppose, bidding hearts instead of diamonds, but it can't possibly be correct for North to pass.

1♥ seems correct. The pass of North is likely a bug. It will be checked for fix.

North has to rebid 1NT and then its an easy raise to 3NT.

I'd bid 1♥ at matchpoints, 1♦ at IMPs or total points.

But North's pass is definitely a bug.
