4 - I think I'm far too good for 2H and this might end the auction.

3H.

Of course I'll compete to 5D at least, but if I bid 2H now and 5D next I won't have shown my hand. 4H is possible.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

I like taking the heart hook, and then planning to ruff hearts with the dummy's nice trumps. When the K falls at T3, I think I still ruff a low heart and concede the overruff before claiming 6.

Out of topic but, as i see it, BBO rewarded Lurpoa with an extra right to vote to each reply. They must have decided the way she uses her votes deserves a promotion.

That was pretty funny, but I think it's just a glitch. The score for that post is 2, even though it has three lines listed as upvoters, two of them the same person.
But if it's not, this has to be one of the most patient schemes I've seen.

4 for me should show some kind of freak like this with more than I'll bid 5 next if given the chance, unless PD decides for me, as in your auction.

Don't we want to play this hand in game? While 3 obviously shows a good hand it isn't forcing.

My initial instinct was 2H, but I guess I should really bid 4H.

I've heard of light overcalls, but really? Qxxxx (not even the nine!) and a side ace opposite an unpassed hand?
