In all seriousness, you can sign in invisibly so that they won't know you're on. This is probably not ideal, but should work.

If you use the new version of BBO: Click www.bridgebase.com, click "Play Bridge Now" then sign in as usual, enemies will not be able to 1) send you messages or 2) Invite you to games.
