The find a game dialog box is blank = a white screen of death. Any ideas anyone?

I thought Rain answered you already.

If it's not the same thing as you described in your other post - what is this about?

If you are using the windows version, sometimes the HMFAG window appears white or gives a Gateway error, Timeout error or some other type of error when the server is too busy. Not much to do about it, just wait a bit and try again later.

If this is not what happens can you explain in more detail? What you are trying to do and what goes wrong..

Rain suggested using the web based version. This is not a solution as i, and many others, dislike the web version and prefer to use the old client.
As I have stated already, when I click on"Help me find a game", the dialog box appears, but it is empty. There are no play or kibbitz command buttons and no option buttons. It is just a blank dialog box.
To repeat, I am using XP SP3. My laptop with Win7 SP1 works fine.
