I was sitting south Vulnerable with a motley lot 7 points and no fit.
when west dealer opened 1diamond-1spade 2cl-me with 2/7/3/1 and 7 points
costs nothing to bid 2hts.then 4diamonds long pause 4hts -5cl-pass-6diamonds-6 hts
7cl-7hts-pass pass x---- end of crisis


Ace diamonds led--dummy
was somewhat pleased dummy void diamonds so ruffed small thinking perhaps i shld have ruffed with the 9,however east followed.next problem get to hand -so led small spade.
5 cl from east?????????? the penny dropped no hts west had outstanding hts.
7hts doubled =tick
