Convention:
After any 1-level opener, you respond 2♣ with 11HCP (or 19+), and 2♦ with 12-18 (making the bidding GF). This also has consequences for other bids ofcourse...

If I remember correct, this should be something from Klinger, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone ever heard of this, or played it? And what are your experiences with it? Positives, negatives,...

I have the book and read it
No experience with playing it however.

I have the same problem with this scheme that I have with many other "toys". If I am going to "sacrifice" a natural bid in favor of a convention, I prefer to chose a first step response...
