I'm not going to take a stab at that auction, but it looks like north psyched, maybe 3S, after west passed. Unfortunately I don't see how they get to 4S, and surely NS can take a club trick. I don't see any way for EW to take more than 12 tricks without serious errors on the part of the defense.

Getting a good -9 undoubled contract for NS seems tough, as usually East will double. I wonder about something ridiculous like 3S P 4S 5S; AP, but that requires it to be so late night that North fell asleep (or was assuming the opponents were psyching and partner was in on it?) in addition to South bidding crazily.
