I see that people go in and out, but the view count remains at zero.

Do I have a correctable malfunction?

Shows 25 views for me, and it's only been a few 30 minutes since you posted it.... Maybe it's just a refresh thing.

Edit: The other topic was posted about 30 minutes before i checked the counter, sorry.

I get this too.

My impression/guess is that, for me at least, the view count only updates when there's a post added to the thread.

I don't think it's related to the number of replies. This post for example has 0 replies and 215 views.

well, I did do multiple refreshes before asking the question. There is a delay mechanism somewhere...intended or not.

But it has an upvote.

Wait, no. I just viewed it and it was still at 215, then I upvoted it and it's still at 215.

Maybe it's some other delay mechanism, or maybe it gets updated if there's a post or at specified times (that post is a week old or so).
