had a hand today where:
1♠ pass GIB thinking
after about five minutes I gave up
was using old interface with thinking and advice on fast
was able to go back and look at results and chat, and check out lobby etc
so interface was frozen up was just GIB...whatever that means

If it was taking that long, it wasn't thinking, it was hung in some way.

I have had similar problems in the past, usually when on a shaky internet connection. I've always managed to fix it by logging out and back in again.
Yay for the "Ignored Users" feature!

That doesn't sound like his problem, since he says he's able to move around the site. A connection problem would interfere with that, too.
He's using the downloaded client, not the web client, so GIB runs on his PC, not BBO's servers (unless he's playing in a robot tourney).

yes it was the old interface, and basically it just kept flashing yellow that it was thinking( i dont know wether to laugh or not)
internet connection was active and all other function on bbo screen still worked.
