There seems to be a lot of these type hands..
as opener one can be min-medium-and maximum,
at what point does the opener move {point count wise}.
and reverse............
especially if 1 ht-1n/t?
1ht-2c/2d-now i refer to medium opener?

Personally I don't reverse on these hands at all, because when it starts 1-1NT my partner can never have 4 spades.

1h=1nt
2s(old fashion strong reverse, not minimum)
akqx....akqxx....xxx...x

AKxx...Axxxx...xxx...x

1h=2c/2d
2s(not extras, just shape can have 11 hcp)

fwiw I expect responder to very often have a stronger hand than opener, often.
Responder assumes opener is minimum because opener is very often weaker than responder.

I prefer to play Gazzilli after 1M openings. This handles 16+ hands in an efficient way imo.

Otherwise 1-1NT-2 is around 18+HCP. With (15)16-17HCP you can always rebid a minor (unless 4=5=2=2 obviously) followed by 2NT, but that suggests a 5332 with 15-17HCP. The true nature of a 5431 will be lost. Well, you can't have it all... ;)

I have a "home grown" system for 2/1 GF Responses to 1H openers to show minimum or extras; w/ or w/o 4 cards Sp:

1H - 2C!/2D!
??
..2S = 4 cards Sp, natural, reverse strength
..2NT = NO 4 cards Sp, but extras

..2H! = announces a minimum opener; may have 4 cards Sp
........2S! = asks
..............Flannery type replies with 4 cards Sp:
.............. 3C! = 4s/5h w/Cl shortness
.............. 3D! = 4s/5h w/Diam shortness
.............. 3H! = 4s/6h ( extra Ht length); 3S! asks shortness ( Zel improvement )
.............. 3S! = 4s/5h and 2-2 in the minors

.............. 2NT! = No 4 cards Sp ( this is the 2nd way for Opener to bid 2NT --showing a minimum open )

This is fine if 2/1 is GF, but the OP didn't specify.
