This time I am not so interested in why you chose a 1♥ or 2♣ opening, I know there are 2 distinct approaches.
I am interested in WHO uses which approach so please vote.
Aren't these distributional hands fabulous!

2♣. I am more conservative than most when it comes to opening 2♣, especially with 2 suiters.
This hand is just too good to open 1♥. And that is not because I fear being passed out in 1♥ (almost impossible), but that I will not be able to convey to partner how strong my hand is if I open 1♥.
I accept the fact that my opps may preempt spades.

As much as I despise opening 2C with 2-suiters, this time I make an exception. But, won't be happy setting hearts as trump to find out about minor Kings either (would prefer heart Jack to do that); so, probably will have problems with the continuations anyway.
If I could be assured the opps would bounce in with spade bids, then I would have chosen 1H; so if that was the case at the table, then change my vote to 1H
Wouldn't want to disappoint Whereagles, who already believes I result.

Would depend on my methods here, if partner bids 2♦ almost all the time, I'll bid 2♣, I don't fancy bidding this over 2♣-P-2♠.

I doubt that anyone here has higher standards that do I with respect to opening 2♣, but I open 2♣ here and am very comfortable with it, despite the obvious problems with preempts...I am bidding (at least) 5♥ by myself if need be.

If you open 2♣, partner bids 2♥ (no A, K)

Yes, that makes the auction quick (4H). Too painful to try to find a big club fit. But staying out of opener's way by not doing that would be the subject for another thread.

This is a 2 loser hand. You have to open this one 2C. No second choice. 4H over the 2H response is ok, though I would bid 3H and now 4C over partner's 3S, (if he bids that). There is no reason why partner could not have a 5 card C suit.
