Thanks for all the contributions,I particularly like the 1NT-3H to show slam interest and have already discussed it with partner as it is straight forward enough and she prefers simplicity, as do I.
Just to clear up a point - rightly or wrongly we play 1NT- 4NT is quantitative and 4NT after any suit sequence as RKCB.

So what do you do with values for 1N-4N and 4 spades but not 4 hearts ? Provided you have an answer to that be it 2♠, 4♠ or whatever, that's a perfectly fine arrangement and 4N only quantitative direct has the big advantage of being simple.
Also don't overlook 1N-2♣-2♠ when you have a 4N bid with 4 hearts.
